I’ve been to Mum Aroi several times now, and it has quickly become one of my favorite spots in the area. The flavors are so close to what I’ve had in Thailand truly authentic and comforting. The boat noodles are hands down the best I’ve had around here, with a rich and flavorful broth. The basil chicken tasted just like what I’d get back home in Thailand, and their crispy pork with Chinese broccoli is another favorite. I also really enjoyed the Hoy Jor (deep-fried crab meat rolls) crispy on the outside, soft and flavorful inside. The stir-fried Chinese broccoli with crispy pork was excellent as well, perfectly seasoned and cooked just right. It’s a small restaurant, but the food is consistently delicious. If you’re looking for real Thai food in the area, this place is definitely worth checking out.

This beautifully decorated restaurant left out no details. Spacious, clean, inviting, and and several wonderful harder to find items on the menu. They also had seating upstairs as well. Their yum pladook foo (crispy fried cat fish) was heavy on the flour batter, so it was hard to break and absorb the dipping sauce. The dipping sauce was wayyyy too salty...and thick...was based on mae ploy chicken/spring roll dipping sauce. Staff was very attentive and kind. Everyone was just happy to be there
I ordered the Tom Yum soup and it was delicious! Tasted exactly like the Tom Yum I had in Thailand. The food is authentic and has great presentation.
Authentic not too cloyingly sweet papaya salad, tender pork skewers from the special menu, green scallion pancake cubes, spicy dipping sauces, good fried spring rolls. Normal portions but not huge American style ones. Awesome coconut ice cream made in house. The Thai ice tea ice cream was also great. The server made great recommendations. The place is small but has lots of seating. The food came out fast as it was not too busy midweek. There is lots of free and easy parking. Also a Thai grocery store next door if you feel inspired to cook for yourself. I got another portion of papaya salad and had them separate the wet from the dry. The beef salad was also good. The noodle dishes were good as well. They deliver as well. Excellent food. Probably the best Thai food so far. So yummy. Mum Aroi means “that’s tasty” and it was!
Food is good and the restaurant very cute nice and clean we will visit again!
Lots of novel dishes to chose from, ones you don’t find in your typical Thai restaurant like green scallion dumplings or fermented pork salad. Flavors were fresh and light. Service was really friendly. The interior isn’t the coziest with high seats that hot up against the people behind you, but that is a small detail. Definitely worth a return visit.
Authentic, foods are delicious, great service. My suggestion is “Kuai Tiao Khua Kai” and “Boat Noodle Soup” if you love Thai authentic food. You must try!!!
Delicious food. Service here was great. Parking is free and readily available. And food is delicious. My wife still raves. The setting is very comfortable, with very friendly staff. The crispy chive dumplings and homemade dipping sauce were wonderful. My wife absolutely loved her spicy shrimp basil eggplant and my spicy basil fried rice was perfect.
